Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. Position Summary LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Site Coordinator to join our team at 2067 West Vista Way, Suite 275, Vista, CA 92083. We are currently seeking a phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided with opportunities for continuous growth within the organization. Work Schedule Monday to Friday hours vary between 7:00am-3:30pm, additional hours and rotating weekends may be required. Job Responsibilities Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary Address any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful manner Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collecting payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications 2 years or more of experience as phlebotomist High school diploma or GED or equivalent California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) Preferred Qualifications Associate degree 3 years or more of experience as phlebotomist 2 years or more of experience supervisory role Additional Job Standards In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement. Experience managing workflow in a patient-centered environment 1 year or more phlebotomist experiences pediatric patients Knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, techniques, and role responsibilities. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service Pay Range Pay Range: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Incentive Program QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM. PSC Site Coordinator may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
