Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Role Overview Seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide skilled inpatient services in an acute care hospital setting, focusing on patient evaluation and treatment. The role involves establishing treatment plans, educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare teams, delegating tasks, and ensuring proper documentation. The OT will assess and reassess patients' needs, discharge planning, and recommend referrals to specialists as appropriate. Provide personalized patient care aligned with individual needs and values. Work collaboratively with healthcare providers, patients, and families. Delegate interventions to assistants and students based on competency. Conduct assessments, reassessments, and consultations for occupational therapy services. Complete documentation per departmental policies. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT). License as an Occupational Therapist. No prior experience required; supervision experience is not necessary. Preferred: Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Skills And Attributes Strong clinical evaluation and treatment planning skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
