Respiratory Therapist (Registered or Certified)

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (Registered or Certified) to join our clinical care team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care. We have a variety of opportunities available across HSHS ministries in Southern Illinois.

Position Specifics:

• Department: Respiratory
• Schedule: Full time: 36 hrs./wk., Nights (6p-6a) and a weekend rotation
• Locations: Openings in O'Fallon, IL, Breese, IL, and Highland, IL
• Sign On: $15,000

Education Qualifications:

• Diploma or an Associate's degree in respiratory therapy from an Accredited Respiratory Care Education Program is required.
• Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy from an Accredited Respiratory Care Education Program is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) is required.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice is required. License must be obtained within 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.

Pay Range: $29.55 - $44.32

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
