Role Overview As a Nurse Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and care of our patients. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you'll perform specific patient care duties, provide input for care plans, and respond to emergent situations. Your work directly supports the RN team and contributes to the exceptional care we provide at Henry Ford Health. What You Will Do Perform specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs under RN supervision. Provide input to assist the RN in planning and implementing patient care. Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures. Participate in your own continuing education to enhance patient care. Uphold the Henry Ford Health System Team Member Standards of Excellence in all interactions. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of previous experience in a similar role.
