Litigation Associate Attorney (Products Liability / Transportation) Chicago, IL Role Description We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 4+ years of litigation experience to join our Aviation and Transportation Practice Group in our Chicago office at Willis Tower. This role is ideal for a strong litigator with experience in products liability, transportation, or insurance defense litigation , who is interested in building a specialized practice in aviation and high‑exposure matters. What You’ll Do Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation Represent clients in aviation, transportation, and products liability matters involving personal injury, property damage, and commercial disputes Advise clients on regulatory, operational, and risk‑related aviation issues, including familiarity with FAA regulations (or a willingness to learn) Draft and negotiate complex contracts for aviation‑related transactions Participate in client meetings, depositions, hearings, and mediations (travel as required) What We’re Looking For 4+ years of civil litigation experience and an active Illinois bar license Background in products liability, transportation, or insurance defense Aviation or transportation experience, or a demonstrated interest, is a plus Some coverage experience preferred but not required Exceptional writing, analytical, and verbal communications skills Interest in developing a specialized practice within a collaborative team environment Ability to work independently and take ownership of their work What Sets This Role Apart Opportunity to build a distinct niche practice in aviation and products liability Earlier ownership of cases and workstreams, with increased visibility Collaborative culture with strong mentorship and accessible partners Consistent exposure to complex, high‑stakes litigation work Clear path for long‑term growth and advancement Featured benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) and Company Match Paid parental leave Gym Membership at Willis Tower #J-18808-Ljbffr
