INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Local Industrial Distributor & Service Company off 45 S. inside the loop is looking for a full-time inside sales representative. We are looking for an energetic, professional and self-motivated candidate who is eager to learn. Great people skills. Comfortable dealing with clients over the phone and in person. Need a reliable individual to work with our company long term.

Duties:

Performs administrative and office support activities for multiple Outside Sales representatives. Duties include but are not limited to communicating with customers to process purchase orders.  Promptly respond to daily customer inquiries, research, resolve and follow up on customer inquiries. Order processing/entry, price quotations. Support outside sales team with business development.  Work with vendors and shipping department to fulfill customers requested lead time.    Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum of one-year general office experience. Exceptional verbal communication and customer service skills. Must be familiar with word, excel, outlook and comfortable with basic math skills.

Must be detail oriented and enjoy multi-tasking, ability to adapt to various situations and work independently, quick learner and type at least 45 wpm. Strong, reliable and dependable work ethic.

Excellent problem solving skills and ability to think critically. The candidate must have excellent administrative, clerical, record-keeping and computing skills.
