Multifamily Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance SupervisorWe're looking for a hands-on, reliable Maintenance Supervisor to support multiple apartment communities and ensure our properties are safe, well-maintained, and operating at a high standard. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and can balance day-to-day maintenance needs with larger projects. You'll lead a small team, support property operations, and help create a positive living experience for our residents.Oversee maintenance operations across multiple apartment communitiesLead, train, and support maintenance techniciansPerform and coordinate general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and repairsManage unit turns, ensuring apartments are move-in ready and meet company standardsParticipate in and respond to on-call and after-hours maintenance emergenciesConduct routine property inspections and identify preventative maintenance needsAssist with planning and executing capital improvement projectsEnsure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulationsMaintain accurate records of work orders and maintenance activity (Yardi experience preferred)Communicate effectively with property managers, residents, and vendorsExperience in apartment maintenance, ideally across multiple propertiesStrong working knowledge of general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, etc.)Experience with unit turns and renovationsFamiliarity with Yardi or similar property management systems preferredUnderstanding of Fair Housing laws and regulationsStrong leadership skills with the ability to support and guide a teamHighly organized with strong problem-solving abilitiesSelf-starter who can work independently and manage multiple prioritiesValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to lift, carry, and move equipment and materialsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periodsComfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditionsFull-time role during standard business hoursParticipation in on-call rotation and availability for after-hours emergencies requiredCompetitive compensation based on experienceHealth insurance optionsPaid time offIRA Contribution MatchAt Meritus Property Group, we're committed to creating well-managed communities and positive experiences for both our residents and our teams.
