We are currently looking for a Finishing Production Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis to determine root cause.
• Audit compliance with mix prevention rules, customer-specific rules, and standards.
• Work directly with Customer Service Representatives and Shipping when necessary to fulfill customer requirements.
• Understand production requirements and ensure level loading of each asset.
• Audit job jackets and production timesheets for accuracy and compliance to quality plans.
• Manage daily work requirements, ensuring jobs are completed in time to meet production delivery dates.
• Manage production schedules, ensuring sufficient stock is available to keep assets running.
• Establish Kanban systems for supply replenishment.
• Create and regularly update standard work documentation.
• Facilitate and execute process improvement activities.
• Communicate opportunities for improvement to the leadership team.
• Maintain regular email communication and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one situations.
• Ability to read and understand job specifications.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs.
• Ability to take responsibility and ownership for personal performance while accepting challenging goals.
• Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward written and oral instructions.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to address problems involving a limited number of variables and understand when to involve supervision in the problem-solving process.
• Ability to wear required PPE in production areas and follow all safety protocols.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and move throughout the production environment for extended periods.
• Frequent walking required.
• Ability to use hands to feel and touch, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery and production equipment.

Vision Requirements:

• Vision correctable to 20/20 if required.
• Ability to meet vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Internal Candidates:

• Satisfactory attendance record required.
