Licensed Therapist (Office of Mental Health) - School-Based Brentwood, NY Part-Time | 30hrs/week, Mon-Fri 1:00PM-7:00PM Salary: $61,000-$68,000/yr Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. We are currently seeking a Licensed Therapist to provide culturally responsive mental health services to students and families in a school-based setting. This part-time role is a great fit for a therapist who wants to make a direct impact. What You'll Do: Provide clinical oversight for students with mental health, substance use, or behavioral conditions Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, Relapse Prevention Plans, and Support Plans Deliver individual, family, and group counseling in English and Spanish Run therapy groups and provide crisis intervention and daily living support Coordinate care with schools, families, and outside providers; attend CSE meetings as needed Advocate for students' rights, cultural needs, and access to appropriate care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation What You'll Need: Master's degree in a human services field Active licensure as an LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC (candidates without licensure may be considered with an educational agreement) At least 1 year of experience working with outside treatment providers and mental health professionals Valid NYS driver's license The day-to-day demands of this role require an extreme level of patience and de-escalation that may not align with your personal strengths or current coping strategies.
