Corporate Studio Manager

The Studio Manager is responsible for the end-to-end operation, execution, and experience of our in-house studio. This individual serves as the owner of the studio environment, ensuring every shoot (both live and pre-recorded) is executed at quality standard from equipment management and technical setup to talent experience, filming, asset delivery, and studio upkeep. The Studio Manager oversees all technical and operational aspects of studio production, acting as the primary point of accountability for quality, efficiency, and consistency. WHAT A SUCCESSFUL DAY LOOKS LIKE Studio shoots are executed seamlessly, on time, and at a consistently high production standard. All equipment is properly tracked, maintained, and always shoot-ready. Talent, executives, and guests feel fully supported and confident throughout the shoot experience. Footage is captured flawlessly and delivered promptly, clearly organized, and ready for post-production. The studio remains clean, organized, and presentation-ready at all times. Standardized studio workflows, checklists, and SOPs are documented and consistently followed. Minimal downtime and rapid resolution of technical issues during shoots. WHAT YOU'LL DO! Own the full lifecycle of studio equipment, from procurement tracking to preventative maintenance and usage accountability. Execute complete production environment builds for each shoot, ensuring all technical elements are dialed in before talent arrives. Lead all camera work and serve as the on-set technical authority for every production. Partner cross-functionally with presenters, internal teams, and guests to deliver a seamless, high-caliber shoot experience. Brief and prepare on-camera talent ahead of each session, ensuring technical readiness and presenter confidence. Own footage handling end to end, including organization, backup, and timely delivery to downstream teams. Uphold a studio environment that is shoot-ready, visually professional, and operationally clean at all times. Build and continuously refine the operational playbook for studio productions, including workflows, standards, and checklists. Onboard and coach internal staff and contractors on studio protocols and equipment operation. Serve as the primary driver of continuous improvement across studio layout, gear, and production processes. Flex into special productions, live capture sessions, and off-site shoots as business needs require. WHAT YOU'VE DONE! Deep technical fluency across camera systems, optics, lighting design, audio capture, and end-to-end studio workflows. Exceptionally detail-oriented with disciplined asset management and operational follow-through. Self-directed and fully accountable for studio outcomes with no need for day-to-day oversight. Communicates with clarity and professionalism across all levels, from executives and talent to editors and marketing stakeholders. Composed under pressure with strong real-time problem-solving instincts when technical issues arise. Creates an environment where every guest feels prepared, at ease, and well taken care of from arrival to wrap. Consistently looks ahead to identify and implement improvements across systems, tools, and production quality. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in studio production, video production, or a related media role. Demonstrated experience operating cameras, lighting, and audio in a professional studio environment. Experience supporting executives, speakers, or on-camera talent preferred. Background in corporate media, marketing content, or digital production strongly preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift and transport production equipment Prolonged periods of standing, setup, and breakdown during studio days.
