Physical Therapist Assistant

Salary: $28 - $34 / hour based on experience Bodycentral Physical Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics serving Tucson, Tempe, and surrounding communities for over 20 years. We are known for providing the highest quality care for our patients and our team of highly skilled physical therapists who are honored and delighted to help patients reach their goals. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient FollowUp : Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
- Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
- Therapeutic Interventions : Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
- Documentation : Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
- Professional Atmosphere : Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
- Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
