Assembly TechnicianThe Assembly Technician performs manufacturing assembly of solar panels and batteries, including both mechanical assembly and electrical wiring. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read wiring schematics, and high attention to detail to ensure all products meet quality standards.ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly of solar panels, batteries, and related components.Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical parts and components according to established procedures.Follow detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and assembly procedures to complete tasks accurately.Read and interpret wiring schematics to perform electrical wiring and connections correctly.Use basic hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently during assembly operations.Perform visual inspections on assembled products to verify they meet quality standards and specifications.Handle and assemble small parts that require good hand coordination and fine motor skills.Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient and safe production.Adhere to all safety guidelines and quality processes throughout the manufacturing and assembly workflow.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or production environment.Ability to perform electro-mechanical assembly, including working with both mechanical and electrical components.Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring schematics and technical drawings.Skilled in using basic hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively.Strong attention to detail and ability to perform thorough visual inspections for quality assurance.Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work with small parts requiring precise handling.Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to identify and correct assembly issues.Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions and standardized assembly procedures.This is a Contract position based out of Mountain View, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
