About this job Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator who will play a critical role in maintaining efficient operations within a fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Responsibilities Maintain positive and encouraging working relations with all drivers. Provide constant communication of service issues to appropriate personnel and departments, both internal and external. Perform load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties using both Dedicated Fleet and Common Carrier resources. Coordinate daily data entry into the proprietary order-management system, TMW. Work with the home-office invoicing team to ensure timely and accurate completion of weekly customer invoices. Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily and weekly tasks. Provide weekly KPI/performance data reports to both internal and external parties. Coordinate daily scheduling of truck and trailer maintenance. Collaborate with the safety department on DriveCam, driver compliance, and HOS issues. Assist the Project Manager with implementing Safety, Security, and Labor policies. Provide coverage throughout departments during vacations and holidays if necessary. Manage and maintain driver payroll. Audit and approve driver expense reports.Provide assistance to the Project Manager wherever needed. 1+ year of experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, fleet coordination, or a 3PL environment. Strong computer/data-entry skills. Experience coordinating or monitoring drivers and shipments. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with third-party logistics and dispatch. Familiarity with the TMW system is preferred, though training will be provided. This position is based in a fast-paced logistics/3PL environment with significant computer and system work. The work schedule is Wednesday short day, followed by Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6 AM to 6 PM, totaling 40 hours a week. The role requires onsite presence in Dayton, NJ. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of South Brunswick, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
