Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cleaner III - Area Lead to oversee cleaning operations across multiple locations within the Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach areas on night shift . This energetic leader will manage a team of custodial staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for maintaining pristine environments, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to safety regulations. As an Area Lead, you will play a vital role in coordinating industrial and commercial cleaning tasks while fostering a positive team atmosphere that drives excellence every day.

Position Overview

The Cleaner III – Area Lead is a working leadership position responsible for maintaining the highest cleaning standards while supporting operations across multiple facilities within an assigned region.

This is not a desk job.

Pay- 16$ Per HR

Schedule: 5PM - 10:30 PM monday - friday ( duty weekends assigned)

Will Travel to multiple location. Will have to clean.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, solving problems, training others, and stepping in wherever needed to ensure our clients receive exceptional service.

The successful candidate will travel throughout an assigned territory, provide operational support, conduct quality inspections, train employees, cover staffing shortages, and perform janitorial services as necessary.

What You'll Do

• Perform commercial janitorial services to Triple S standards.
• Travel between multiple client locations within an assigned region.
• Lead by example while working alongside cleaning teams.
• Train and mentor new employees.
• Conduct quality inspections and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with onboarding new accounts and contract startups.
• Fill in during employee call-offs, vacations, or staffing shortages.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are available and properly maintained.
• Communicate operational concerns to management.
• Build positive relationships with clients while representing Triple S professionally.
• Maintain accurate documentation, inspection reports, and communication through company systems.
• Assist with special projects, floor care, and emergency service requests when needed.

• Previous experience leading teams preferred.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation. ( or have clean driving record to drive company van )
• Ability to travel throughout an assigned service region.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, walk, climb stairs, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Ability to pass all required background screenings as applicable to assigned contracts.
