Facilities Lead

Chicago Swim School has been making waves since 2005 and is hiring a part-time Facilities Lead working 15-20 hours per week between our locations in Arlington Heights and Mokena. Chicago Swim School has a fast paced environment that provides exceptional service for students and parents. We are people who love kids, teaching kids to love swimming! The Facilities Lead is responsible for ensuring both facilities are fully operational, clean, and safe. The Facilities Lead will work in conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team to execute the vision of the business. We WANT YOU to be the Facilities Lead at Chicago Swim School. A swimming background is not required. Responsibilities Ensure facilities are safe, clean, and fully operational including pool equipment, and all building mechanical systems Develop, implement, and evaluate appropriate facilities operational procedures Track maintenance inventory and order all cleaning supplies and pool chemicals Coordinate with cleaning crew to ensure facility is cleaned to CSS standards Perform minor facility repairs within ability Develop, implement, and evaluate preventative maintenance schedule for all mechanical systems Coordinate all facility maintenance requests Develop, implement, and evaluate facility improvement plan to keep locations fresh and up to date What You Must Have At least 4 years relevant work experience Ability to meet vendors for facility repairs Experience to perform minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills Excellent technology skills, pick up quickly on new software and know Google Docs, Google Sheets, Word and Excel Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Willing to travel between locations in Mokena and Arlington Heights Pass a background check What We Offer Pay up to $23/hr based on experience Role can be combined with swim lesson instruction for additional hours Paid training Paid time off Health insurance available when scheduled above 20 hrs per week Raises 4x per year Free lessons for your children and 50% off for siblings and extended family Flexible schedule Employee assistance program for financial and mental health Fun and energetic team!!
