Phlebotomy Site CoordinatorLabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team at 19016 Stone Oak Pkwy. San Antonio, TX 78258.Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, hours vary between 6:30am-5:00pmJob ResponsibilitiesObserve and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisorsManage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logsMonitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessaryAddress any customer service related issues in a prompt and respectful mannerPromote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkersPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1 or more years of experience as a phlebotomistPreferred Qualifications1 or more years of experience in a coordinator, lead or supervisory rolePrior or current LabCorp employeePhlebotomy certification or completed training programAdditional Job StandardsIn-depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniquesProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortably working under minimal supervisionAble to pass a standardized color blindness testReliable transportation and clean driving record if applicableAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
