We believe in the individuals, families and employees who are part of our organization and that opportunities can and should be created through all of our actions.We are seeking Part-Time Direct Support Professionals in our HBCS (Home and Community Based Services) program who are passionate about working with individuals with disabilities. This includes but not limited to: providing assistance to individuals living on their own by taking them out into the community, assisting with daily in-home tasks, and providing behavioral support. HCBS Direct Support Professional hourly rates range from $15.50-$17.00. Cochise County (Sierra Vista, Bisbee, Douglas, Wilcox, Huachuca City, etc)QualificationsMust have a desire and interest in working with people with disabilities or special needs and demonstrate a knowledge of and respect for cultural differencesMust be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust have verbal and written communication skills adequate to the specific jobMust have the ability to successfully pass background check with Arizona Central Registry, Arizona Adult Protective Services and obtain Level One Fingerprint ClearanceSpecific language abilities (other than English) may be requiredReliable transportation to the work site and for transporting people, if applicableAccess to a telephoneMust be able to meet minimum training requirements and complete renewals as assignedMust be 21+ if required to drive an approved RISE vehicle; to qualify must pass drug test, maintain a valid driver's license, and submit acceptable driving recordIf personal vehicle is used for transporting people must provide current auto insurance that meet minimum requirements of RISE insurance policies Why RISE?
