IT Grundschutz Compliance Expert (f/m/d)

What you’ll do: Develop, implement, and manage the IT Grundschutz based information management system in line with BSI standards. Establish and support strategies and initiatives to comply with Grundschutz standards and address emerging threats. Support internal audits and compliance assessments, preparing reports and documentation for internal & external audits. Provide expert guidance and mentorship to various teams & stakeholders, promoting knowledge-sharing and skills growth. Conduct and orchestrate comprehensive risk assessments and develop response strategies to protect cloud-based systems. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless implementation of security standards. Establish and manage compliance policies and procedures to maintain high standards and regulatory compliance. Oversee compliance security incidents and coordinate effective response strategies. Support and drive the continuous improvement process. What you bring: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field. Deep understanding of IT processes, and their contractual, regulatory, and legal significance, such as EUDP, GDPR and SOX. Extensive experience with standards such as SOC 1 & 2, ISO 27001, BSI C5, PCI DSS, NIST SP 800 and BSI IT-Grundschutz. Minimum of 10 years experience in IT security & compliance environments. Proven track record in managing IT security systems within cloud environments. Excellent leadership skills and ability to mentor and develop teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Relevant certifications such as BSI IT-Grundschutz, CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.
