About the Role

\n

\n

This is a full-time, fully remote position for an attorney to handle complex litigation arising from cybersecurity incidents, data breaches, privacy disputes, technology-related claims, and other emerging risks.

\n

\n

The ideal candidate will have a strong civil litigation background and an interest in the evolving intersection of  cybersecurity, technology, insurance, and litigation .

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Develop and manage litigation strategy for complex and multi-party disputes
\n
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents
\n
• Manage all phases of discovery, including document review, depositions, and expert coordination
\n
• Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
\n
• Advise clients regarding litigation risk, exposure, and strategic options
\n
• Analyze insurance coverage issues, including cyber insurance claims and coverage disputes
\n
• Evaluate liability and risk allocation arising from cybersecurity incidents and property damage
\n
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align litigation strategy with regulatory, compliance, insurance, and business considerations
\n
• Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical analysis on emerging legal and technology issues
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• 3–5 years of experience practicing law, with a strong background in civil litigation
\n
• Experience managing litigation matters from inception through resolution
\n
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
\n
• Experience with pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and/or trial preparation
\n
• Experience with or strong interest in cyber insurance, insurance coverage, claims analysis, and risk allocation
\n
• Familiarity with property damage and related liability matters, particularly those involving technology or cybersecurity incidents
\n
• Interest or experience in cybersecurity, privacy, data protection, technology, or related regulatory matters
\n
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
\n
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
\n
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
\n
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
\n
