Project Manager

Project Manager – Heavy Civil / Water & Wastewater Construction Ability to learn new software programs and project management systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. Previous heavy civil construction experience is preferred. Water and wastewater construction experience is highly encouraged. Project Managers with experience delivering water treatment plants, wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, and related infrastructure are encouraged to apply. Base salary starting at $170,000 per year (depending on qualifications and experience). Profit sharing (cash and deferred). Vehicle allowance and gas card. Responsibilities Reporting to the Construction Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to: Project Planning & Execution Understand client requirements and project scope. Estimate labour, equipment, and material resources required to successfully deliver projects. Develop and manage CPM schedules, three-week look-ahead schedules, and nine-day schedules. Perform pre-construction costing and work planning activities. Manage project cost reporting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable for assigned projects. Monitor project budgets, schedules, and overall performance to ensure successful delivery. Coordinate with owners, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle. Project & Team Management Manage and mentor one or more direct reports. Conduct site safety surveys to evaluate implementation of project safety programmes. Monitor subcontractor safety performance and ensure compliance with applicable Cal-OSHA regulations. Implement and enforce company and client safety policies and procedures. Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management and clients. Negotiate project-related matters with clients and key stakeholders. Perform other duties as directed by the Construction Manager.
