Human Resources InternApplied Composites (AC) is seeking a Human Resources Intern to provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team while gaining hands-on experience in various HR functions. This internship offers exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR compliance, personnel records management, and general office administration. If you are looking for a company that values and develops its employees while offering engaging work, Applied Composites may be the place for you.Job AccountabilitiesAssist with recruiting activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.Prepare new hire paperwork and support the onboarding process.Maintain and organize employee personnel files, both electronic and paper.Assist with HR data entry and record maintenance within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.Assist with benefit enrollment materials and other employee communications.Help prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and correspondence.Perform document filing, scanning, copying, and other administrative duties.Support compliance efforts by assisting with I-9 documentation, personnel file audits, and record retention.Respond to routine employee questions and direct more complex inquiries to appropriate HR staff.Assist with special HR projects as assigned.Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information.Job SpecificationsEducation: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma/GED and at least two years of schooling pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.Years' Experience: 0-2 years of relevant work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.Skills:Possesses knowledge in human resources processes and the ability to coordinate activities for a teamExcellent internal and external customer service skillsStrong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize changing situationsAbility to recognize and solve typical problems and select solutions from established optionsPossesses strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completionAC is an Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled - Affirmative Action Employer.This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
