Our client is a rapidly growing, private equity-backed organization that is transforming its industry through strategic expansion and significant investment. Following a recent capital infusion from a world-class investment firm, the company is executing an ambitious growth strategy focused on acquisitions, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.

As a result, they have created a brand-new Director of Strategic Finance position to support this exciting next phase of growth. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance & Strategy, this highly visible role offers a unique blend of strategic finance, FP&A, and M&A, partnering with senior leadership on critical business initiatives.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who enjoys influencing executive decision-making, building scalable financial processes, and playing a meaningful role in the growth of a dynamic, acquisitive business. The team goes into the NYC office 4x a week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes to support strategic business objectives.
• Analyze financial and operational performance, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and liquidity analyses to support capital planning and business operations.
• Partner cross-functionally with commercial, operations, and executive teams to evaluate business performance, profitability, and investment opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial models used for strategic planning, scenario analysis, and key business initiatives.
• Support acquisition activity through financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence, and integration planning.
• Prepare executive and board-level reporting, presentations, and performance analyses for senior stakeholders and investors.
• Evaluate ROI on strategic initiatives, pricing opportunities, and capital allocation decisions across the business
• Collaborate with finance leadership on ad hoc strategic projects tied to growth, acquisitions, and operational initiatives.

Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 7-10 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, or consulting
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments

Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 + bonus
