Contract Customer Service Representative

Location: St. Louis, MO (Fully Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (with potential schedule flexibility during peak season)
Contract Duration: Through the winter/holiday season with potential opportunity for extension or permanent placement

Position Overview

Search Solution Group is seeking a Contract Customer Service Representative to support a growing team during their busy seasonal period. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with strong communication skills and experience supporting B2B customers in a fast-paced environment.

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for handling inbound customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing excellent service to business customers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on the phone, learning new systems, and managing customer relationships with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service support to B2B customers through phone and email communication.
• Answer incoming customer calls and assist with product questions, order requests, and general inquiries.
• Enter and process customer orders accurately within internal systems.
• Maintain strong communication with customers to ensure a positive experience.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including sales and operations, to resolve customer needs.
• Manage multiple customer requests while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support the team during peak seasonal demand periods.
• Learn product offerings and internal processes to effectively assist customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in B2B customer service, inside sales support, order entry, or a related field .
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of phone interactions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter customer information and orders.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or similar environment is a plus.
