Territory Manager - Personal Lines (Ohio - Cincinnati)

Job Description Summary Nationwide™ is seeking a Territory Manager – Personal Lines in the Ohio‑Cincinnati area to support our Property & Casualty team by driving profitability with personal lines distribution partners. Key Responsibilities Understand and support the strategic and operational goals of the assigned territory and distribution partners. Identify mutually beneficial solutions using data analytics, local marketplace information, and competitor knowledge. Proactively identify and implement actions to achieve territory goals. Lead new business and transfer processes, including identification of new transfers and appointments. Leverage tools such as Salesforce, Seismic, dashboards, and reporting to increase operational efficiency. Gather distribution partner feedback and share continuous‑improvement opportunities. Collaborate with personal lines, farm geography partners, claims, servicing, and other Nationwide counterparts on problem solving, education, promotion, and sales practices. Complete the annual planning process, document agreements in Salesforce, and hold partners accountable to agreements. Partner with Product, Marketing, and other business partners to identify and act on opportunities within the territory. Lead portfolio‑management meetings with the appropriate distribution partners to align on territory goals; monitor portfolio data and analysis to drive profitability and revenue. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Reporting Relationships Reports to Sales Associate Vice President or Vice President; individual contributor role. Qualifications & Experience Undergraduate degree in business, insurance, sales, marketing, or a related field; degree preferred. Eight to ten years of sales or sales‑management experience; prior property/casualty or financial services experience desirable. Strong background in independent agency distribution channel and carrier‑side sales management experience. Proven ability to lead through influence, negotiate, and persuade. Track record of building results in top‑line performance. Customer focus with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships. Strong communication, presentation, and situational‑adaptability skills. Proficient in Salesforce and related tools. Must possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record. This role does not qualify for employer‑sponsored work authorization; Nationwide does not participate in the STEM OPT Extension program. Job Conditions Frequent travel required; potential for overnight stays. Regular in‑person engagement with agency partners is required. Candidate must reside within the assigned territory.
