10,000 Sign on Bonus for External Candidates Optum NY (formerly Optum Tri‑State NY) is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team in Jericho, NY. Schedule Sunday 1:50 p‑10:00 p, Tuesday and Thursday 7:00 a‑10:00 p. Location 555 N Broadway, Jericho, NY 11753 Primary Responsibilities Performs diagnostic x‑ray examinations Performs radiology quality assurance Takes vital signs, performs EKGs and assists providers with patient care Prepares exam rooms and x‑ray room for patients and documents patient encounters in EMR Performs lab testing and quality assurance Prepares and tracks specimens sent to lab Performs MA duties as needed Restocks and maintains inventory of exam rooms, lab and storage rooms Places outgoing phone calls to patients for follow‑up care and handles incoming phone calls from patients Assists with other tasks as assigned Required Qualifications Graduate from an accredited radiology technologist program NYS radiology licensure and ARRT registration Customer service experience and solid computer skills required Preferred Qualifications Experience with diagnostic x‑ray EMR experience Medical office experience; Urgent Care experience Benefits and Compensation Hourly pay ranges from $23.41 to $41.83 per hour based on full‑time employment.
