Job Description The Senior Program Analyst role supports the Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) initiative at the Department of Veterans Affairs. The primary responsibility is to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in the analysis and evaluation of healthcare program effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting operational execution. Responsibilities Conduct program reviews to assess the quality and effectiveness of current and future VHA healthcare programs. Measure program success, outcomes, and performance improvement initiatives. Assist in executing program operations to meet established goals and objectives. Provide input on program evaluation and organizational improvement strategies. Support the management of projects and programs to enhance productivity and performance. Identify and assess program resources to support strategic planning and execution. Develop and contribute to program reports, briefings, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with VHA leadership and cross‑functional teams to align program goals with veteran healthcare needs. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS). Minimum of 8 years of experience. Experience working in Public Health, Health Administration, Business, or a related field. Proficiency in program analysis, evaluation, or healthcare operations. Demonstrated experience conducting performance assessments and improvement planning. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing reports and engaging stakeholders. MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Preferred Qualifications BS/BA in Public Administration, Health Services Research, or related discipline. Proven experience in a large‑scale integrated healthcare system. Familiarity with VHA systems, policies, and veteran outreach programs. Experience supporting federal healthcare initiatives, especially within the Department of Veterans Affairs. Knowledge of healthcare performance metrics and evaluation frameworks. Eligibility Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role. Compensation Salary range: $85,000 – $120,000.
