Multiple caseload options are available, including placements in intensive and mild/moderate Special Day Classes at various age levels—from elementary through post-secondary. You’ll deliver in-person services, design tailored interventions, and collaborate with educators and families to help every student reach their communication potential.

Qualifications & Experience

• Active speech-language pathologist certification/license in California required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) expected
• Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
• Dedication to fostering inclusive, student-centered learning environments

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assess, document, and monitor progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Serve as a resource in creating supportive classroom strategies
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations
