Job Opportunity: Hospitalist for Locum Coverage in Illinois

Our organization is currently in search of a Hospitalist to provide locum coverage in Illinois. Below are the essential details regarding this position:

Job Details

• Start Date: Coverage needed as soon as possible
• Shift Schedule: 24-hour in-house shifts from 8 AM to 8 AM
• Expected Deliveries:
  • OBHG deliveries: Approximately 10 per month (unassigned vs. private patients)
  • Annual hospital deliveries: 120
  • Anticipated locum deliveries: About 10 per month (unassigned vs. private patients)
• Patient Encounters:
  • Office: 15 patients per day
  • Hospital: 5 patients per day
• NICU Level: Level 1
• Anesthesia Coverage: On-call during the night
• Outpatient Responsibilities: Includes outpatient clinic duties
• Gynecological Responsibilities: From clinic and emergency department call
• Circumcision Requirement: Not required for hospitalists
• Support for Certified Nurse Midwives or Family Practice Physicians: Yes, locums will back up CNMs
