Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist - Home Health

Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) to provide in-home services to children and families. This role focuses on supporting functional, meaningful communication through individualized, child-led intervention. Clinicians in this role value connection over compliance and use flexible, responsive approaches that respect each child’s communication style, including gestalt language processing, AAC, and multimodal communication. Key Responsibilities Provide speech-language therapy services to pediatric clients in their homes Conduct evaluations (SLP only) and develop individualized, functional treatment plans Implement child-led, play-based therapy that supports authentic communication Support development of expressive and receptive language, social communication, and speech sound production as appropriate Incorporate and support use of AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) and multimodal communication systems Recognize and support gestalt language processing and other diverse language development profiles Collaborate closely with parents and caregivers, providing coaching to support carryover into daily routines Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with company and payer requirements Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members Travel between client homes within designated service area Clinical Approach & Values Neurodiversity-affirming care that respects all forms of communication Emphasis on autonomy, consent, and intrinsic motivation Support for AAC, echolalia, and diverse language processing styles (including gestalt language processing) Strong focus on caregiver education, coaching, and partnership Commitment to culturally responsive and family-centered care Qualifications Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility Clinical Fellow (CF) Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY) Provisional state licensure (as required) For All Candidates Experience in pediatrics preferred Experience or strong interest in neurodiversity-affirming practices, AAC, and child-led therapy Understanding of or willingness to learn about gestalt language processing Ability to work independently in a home health setting Strong communication and caregiver coaching skills Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Supervision & Support (for CFs) Structured mentorship and supervision in accordance with ASHA guidelines Regular feedback and collaborative problem-solving Support in developing clinical skills in AAC, child-led therapy, and neurodiversity-affirming care #J-18808-Ljbffr
