UX/UI Designer

40 hours per week Position: UX/UI Designer Company Overview: The Episcopal School of Baton Rouge is a prestigious private school that provides a comprehensive education for students in Pre-K through 12th grade. Job Summary: We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our team full‑time. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating user-friendly and visually appealing designs that enhance the user experience. The UX/UI Designer will work closely with our development team to create intuitive and engaging digital experiences for our students, parents, and faculty. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and design user-friendly interfaces for our website and other digital platforms Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to gather insights and inform design decisions Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas and concepts Develop and maintain design guidelines and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital platforms Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design to incorporate into our designs Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently Communicate and present design concepts and ideas to stakeholders and gather feedback for iteration Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in UX/UI design, graphic design, or related field 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a fast-paced environment Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, etc. Experience with user research and usability testing Knowledge of web design best practices and responsive design principles Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Passion for education and a desire to create meaningful experiences for students, parents, and faculty We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off A supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional development and growth A chance to make a positive impact on the education of our students #J-18808-Ljbffr Episcopal School of Baton Rouge
