Job Overview:The Manager IT Pillar - Construction requires an in-depth understanding of IT pillar concepts, theories, and principles and basic knowledge of construction related disciplines. The Manager IT Pillar must be able to apply an understanding of the industry to improve effectiveness, provide guidance, and influence processes and policies for the IT pillar discipline as well as identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems that impact effectiveness. The Manager IT Pillar impacts the level of service and the IT pillar team’s ability to meet quality and timeliness objectives. Decisions made by the Manager IT Pillar should be guided by policies, resource requirements, budgets, and the business plan. Our ingenuity fuels daily life. Essential Qualifications and Education:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldMinimum 10+ years of experience in IT supporting EPCI business applications, ERP, Enterprise Architecture and Technology solutions as a Manager or a Lead administratorExperience with the following tools: Hexagon (Octave) – SPC, WorkPacks - Aveva, O3 Solutions, Omega PIMS, Bentley System (ConstructSIM)Background with ‘Hexagon / Octave / Intergraph' and ‘SPC' / 'SPF’ (Smart Plant Construction / Smart Plant Foundation)Experience in building integrations with Oracle ERP leveraging Dell BoomiExperience in working in a Global / Cross-functional matrix environmentExperience in developing IT Strategy and program execution roadmapExperience in managing budgetExperience in ERP systems implementation & Application supportMust have hands on configuration experience with setting up work packs and associated interfaces with engineering, supply chain and project control applications.Travel is required for this role to the project site#LI-CA1#LI-HYBRID#DICE#LI-DNIKey Tasks and Responsibilities:Enterprise Architecture for IntegrationsUnderstand the business process and build an end-to-end seamless integrationTake the lead in bringing new technologies to accelerate software developmentDevelop enterprise standards, governance processManage Data Conversions in ERP ProgramManage IT Programs following PMO Tollgate processManage team of business analysts and system architectsManage enterprise applications supportOwn and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and proceduresEnsure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and proceduresEnsure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teamsFull timePosting Date: 2026-06-29
