The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuro nursing and will be flexible in working across intensive care and step-down units. Unit Information The role involves providing patient care in both the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2 in the ICU and 3:4 in the stepdown unit. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients with neurological conditions. Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care strategies. Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care plans and recovery processes. Float between the ICU and IMCU as needed, maintaining high standards of care in both settings. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in neuro nursing in an ICU or stepdown setting. Strong skills in neuro assessments and managing complex patient conditions. Valid nursing license verification through Nursys. Current certification related to neuro nursing is preferred. Complete work history with no gaps greater than 60 days.
