ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Float Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool Schedule Day shift, 12-hour shifts, and rotating schedule (12x3). Job Description The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in the Float Pool will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care across various medical-surgical units as needed. The RN will need to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability while floating between different departments in alignment with patient care requirements. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to all patients in accordance with established protocols. Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and implementing patient-centered interventions. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Document all patient interactions and care in the electronic health record (EPIC required). Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have a valid RN license with verification through Nursys. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing specialty. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Ability to float to all medical-surgical areas as needed. Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Why ARMStaffing?
