Job Description Job Title: CNC Operator/Programmer Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Programmer to join our team. This position requires the operation and programming of CNC machinery, including 7-axis machines, Swiss, Star, and Citizen models. The role offers flexibility in shift hours and involves working with various metals, ensuring precision and quality in all operations. Responsibilities Operate and program CNC machinery, including 7-axis machines, Swiss, Star, and Citizen models. Select, layout, and install appropriate tooling and adjust tool offsets. Troubleshoot and optimize machine setups and programs. Perform inspections using quality gauges such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, and other precision measuring instruments. Work with metals such as steel, brass, and aluminum. Essential Skills Minimum of 2+ years of experience in CNC setup, operation, and ideally programming. Proficiency in using CAM software, SPC tools, and data collection systems. Ability to stand for extended periods (8-12 hours per shift). Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. throughout a shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Swiss-style lathes is preferred.
