Fabrication Technician

Job Description As a Fabrication Technician you will perform wafer fabrication functions in the production of semiconductor devices. All work tasks are performed in a clean room environment which is temperature and humidity controlled to prevent product contamination. You will be required to wear a gown, hood, gloves, mask, booties and safety glasses when performing the job. This position offers 12 hours shifts with built in overtime. Day and night shifts are available. Each shift operates on a 4-3-3-4 work schedule which means one week you work 4 days with 3 days off and the next week you work 3 days with 4 days off. Available shifts are: Day Shift – Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday 5:24am-5:35pm Night Shift – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday 5:24pm-5:35am Job Responsibilities: Operate equipment in performing alignment, masking, etch deposition, testing, and diffusion. Perform wafer fabrication by following work instruction and documented procedures. Operate equipment to perform various stages of the wafer fabrication process. Perform measurements and analysis of critical parameters and record data. Adhere to clean room protocol including wearing PPE for long periods of time. Maintain proper documentation and records. Visually inspect and recognize quality defects. Handle fragile GaAs wafers and precious metals, such as gold and platinum. Mix wet chemistries. Collect and log data into computer-based applications. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Comfortable working around chemicals and in a clean room environment Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, warehouse or assembly environment Great work ethic and the ability to work well with others Clean room experience is a HUGE plus!
