Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCommercial Electrical Project Manager – Lead High-Impact Projects for Coastal Electric of FloridaJob Overview:Company: Coastal Electric of FloridaSalary/Pay Rate: $85,000 - $110,000 per year (Plus Performance-Based Bonus)Location: Jacksonville, FLJob/Employment Type: Full TimeProject Scope: Commercial ElectricalMandatory Licenses & Certifications: None RequiredThe Opportunity:You will drive commercial electrical construction projects from initial turnover through final closeout across the greater Jacksonville market. Working within a rapidly growing company that maintains a supportive family feel, you will directly control project profitability, schedules, and team performance. Your leadership will protect financial outcomes while expanding key industry relationships.How You Will Make an Impact:Manage commercial electrical projects from contract award through closeout and warranty phases.Establish project budgets, cost codes, labor forecasts, and cost-to-complete projections.Negotiate change orders, process submittals, and oversee subcontracts to maximize profitability.Conduct jobsite visits to inspect progress, verify safety compliance, and direct field teams.Lead project kickoff and turnover meetings with estimating, accounting, and purchasing units.Maintain complete documentation including RFIs, billings, cash-flow reports, and schedules.Required Qualifications & Experience:Minimum of 4 years of commercial electrical project management or field leadership experience in Jacksonville Market.Valid driver's license and ability to visit jobsites throughout greater Jacksonville.Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, construction methods, and the NEC.Core proficiency reading electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, and one-line diagrams.Proven experience managing project budgets, labor forecasts, procurement, and billing.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.Preferred Qualifications & Experience:7 or more years of commercial electrical project management or field leadership experience.Experience in the Jacksonville, Orlando, or Palm Coast commercial construction markets.Hands-on experience with Trimble Vista project management and accounting software.Completed Trade Program or Technical Certification.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive annual salary with performance-based bonus opportunities.401(k) retirement savings program with employer matching.Weekly pay cycle.Comprehensive health insurance including medical, dental, and vision.Paid time off for holidays, vacation, and sick leave.Safety equipment provided.Training, certifications, and paid apprenticeship programs.Referral bonus program.About Us: Coastal Electric of Florida specializes in commercial and industrial electrical installations throughout the region.
