The role offers the flexibility of a remote work environment while also providing the essential connection of an outpatient office setting. As our clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasionally scheduled evening and weekend shifts, you will benefit from a dynamic yet structured work schedule. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, evaluating the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that resonate with their specific preferences and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, prominently including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide clients toward recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care strategies to empower them in their mental health journey.

• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to plans to optimize outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure that clients receive integrated and seamless care.

• Continuously update knowledge about the latest developments in mood disorder treatment by engaging in research and professional training.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and professional development activities to bolster clinical skills and stay current with best practices.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to diminish the stigma surrounding mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily engage with individuals grappling with mood disorders, providing essential mental health support to those navigating the complexities of their conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience focusing specifically on mood disorders.
