Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial. Experience Requirements Minimum 3 years of CNC operator experience Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions Experience using hand tools, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and technical documentation Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Job Duties Operate, monitor, and adjust CNC machinery to ensure quality production Inspect finished products and perform quality checks Maintain accurate production records Perform routine machine checks and identify equipment issues Replenish materials and support efficient production operations Follow established safety procedures and production standards Support continuous improvement initiatives within the facility Preferred Qualifications Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a CNC Operator. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
