Maintenance Technician IIThe Maintenance Technician II maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs a wide range of production machinery and facility equipment, including thermo-forming equipment, pumps, motors, and AC/DC systems. This role works closely with machine operators to quickly diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of equipment across the facility.ResponsibilitiesInspect, troubleshoot, and repair thermo-forming equipment, pumps, motors, and AC/DC systems throughout the facility.Work closely with machine operators to identify equipment issues and determine appropriate corrective actions.Perform mechanical repairs on production and support equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including electrical troubleshooting on various systems and components.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate and efficient repairs.Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform maintenance and repair tasks.Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to reduce unexpected breakdowns and extend equipment life.Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, and related components.Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems, including air lines, cylinders, and controls.Assist with PLC troubleshooting to identify and resolve control-related issues on automated equipment.Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage as required by facility procedures.Collaborate with team members and other departments to support continuous improvement in equipment reliability and performance.Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Essential SkillsHands-on experience repairing thermo-forming equipment, pumps, motors, and AC/DC systems.Strong electrical troubleshooting skills across a variety of industrial equipment and systems.Proficiency in mechanical repair of production machinery and facility equipment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.Experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.Knowledge of hydraulic systems and components, including troubleshooting and repair.Knowledge of pneumatic systems and components, including troubleshooting and repair.Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in a maintenance environment.Ability to work collaboratively with machine operators and other team members to resolve equipment issues.PLC troubleshooting experience to support diagnosis of control system problems.Strong willingness to learn and grow within the maintenance field.Additional Skills & QualificationsRelevant technical schooling or education in maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or industrial technology.Experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or molding environment.Comfort working with both older and newer equipment and adapting to different technologies.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when troubleshooting complex issues.Good communication skills to clearly explain issues and solutions to operators and team members.Why Work Here?You join a family-oriented organization that values long-term growth, internal promotions, and a supportive culture. The position operates on structured shifts: first shift runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with overtime as needed; second shift runs Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with overtime and a shift premium; third shift runs from Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with overtime and a higher shift premium. The environment involves hands-on work with industrial machinery, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics, using standard hand and power tools while following established safety practices.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Germantown, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
