Insurance Agent

Role Overview We are seeking an entrepreneurial agent to launch and grow a Shelter Insurance agency in Cape Girardeau, MO. You will develop client relationships, sell Shelter products, and have the opportunity to build a team. Responsibilities Develop and prospect new client relationships in the local community. Sell Shelter Insurance products including auto, home, life, and business. Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales and commission requirements. Build and manage a small agency team as needed. Maintain accurate agency records and agency financials. Qualifications Motivated, entrepreneurial spirit and strong communication skills. Sales experience or general business background is helpful but not required. High school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is an advantage. Ability to meet Shelter’s sales and core business proficiency standards. Unencumbered background check and willingness to complete virtual training.
