Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with strong and recent experience in the Insurance domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models and should possess a strong understanding of insurance business data, processes, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, analysts, and development teams to understand data requirements.
Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data models.
Develop and maintain enterprise-level data architecture and data modeling standards.
Analyze complex data structures and identify relationships across multiple source systems.
Design data models supporting operational, analytical, reporting, and data warehouse environments.
Ensure data models adhere to data governance, data quality, security, and industry standards.
Perform data profiling, data analysis, and impact analysis.
Work closely with ETL/Data Engineering teams to support data integration and transformation requirements.
Document data definitions, metadata, data lineage, and business rules.
Optimize database structures for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Participate in data architecture discussions and provide recommendations for data strategy.




Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience as a Data Modeler / Data Architect.
Must have recent hands-on experience in the Insurance domain.
Strong understanding of insurance business processes and data, including areas such as:
Policy Administration
Claims
Underwriting
Billing
Customer/Producer Data
Property & Casualty (P&C), Life, or Health Insurance
Extensive experience in:
Conceptual Data Modeling
Logical Data Modeling
Physical Data Modeling
Dimensional Modeling
Data Warehouse Modeling
Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or similar tools.
Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and modern cloud data platforms is preferred.
Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
