Industrial Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift Weekly Pay - Sign In Bonus (P)

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician at our Gibsonton, Florida location, you will assess, fix, repair manufacturing and facilities equipment, research technical data, procure parts, perform hands‑on repairs, and coordinate contractor support as needed. How You’ll Make An Impact Demonstrate a “Safety First/Safety Always” attitude and perform duties to the highest quality standards. Execute daily assignments including coordinating, supporting, and performing all required plant reactive, preventative, proactive, project, and setup maintenance activities. Use the site’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document maintenance actions, train fellow technicians, and analyze maintenance issues and trends to recommend improvements. Assist in training, coaching, and mentoring technicians on proper maintenance practices, safe work practices, equipment theory, and repair procedures. Communicate effectively with associates at all levels verbally and in writing, and coordinate maintenance resources to support production. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor. What You Bring High school diploma or GED (associate degree, Trade School or Online Maintenance Coursework Certificate and/or Military Technical Training preferred). Strong electrical skills and ability to use electrical test equipment such as multimeters, megger and other specialized test equipment, read and interpret electrical prints and schematics (PLC programming, robotics, and vacuum system experience is a plus). Mechanically inclined with proficiency in standard tools of the trade, basic hand and machine tools, reading mechanical drawings and prints, and operating basic shop machinery (presses, grinders, lathes, mills). At least 5 years of experience working with electro‑mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment, with ability to inspect equipment, read labels, and physically stand for 5–8 hours a day, work on raised surfaces, and climb stairs or ladders. Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization. Position requires an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of the required license is a prerequisite, and the candidate must work with export‑controlled technology in compliance with U.S. export control law.
