This contract-based opportunity plays a vital role in supporting students’ learning and well-being for the FY27 school year. You’ll conduct initial and re-evaluations for students, helping to unlock their potential and ensure they receive the services they need. With flexibility in hours—anywhere from 100 to 500 hours per district each year—you’ll find an arrangement that matches your expertise and schedule. Virtual assignments are available for those who value remote work.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification appropriate for Minnesota
• Experience performing initial and re-evaluations in a K-12 setting
• Strong knowledge of school-based assessment tools, best practices, and special education law
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and a multidisciplinary team
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
• Familiarity with virtual assessment platforms (for remote applicants)
• Commitment to ethical and culturally sensitive practice

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete thorough psychoeducational assessments for initial and re-evaluations
• Prepare detailed reports outlining recommendations and strategies for student support
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians regarding student needs
• Contribute to the development and review of IEPs as required
• Support multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and response to intervention (RTI) processes
• Maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
