Key Responsibilities\n

The Mental Health Counselor will undertake several important duties, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, determining frequency, severity, and duration to tailor effective treatment strategies.

• Collaborating with clients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring alignment with evidence-based therapies.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate clients' recovery and enhance coping skills.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will have:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• A deep expertise in CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
