Quick Facts Location: 3700 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714 Start Date: 12/31/2025 Duration: Ongoing temporary assignment Shift: Day/Night shifts available, typically 12 hours Hours/week: Variable, based on schedule needs Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certs: Indiana State Medical License, Board Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB experience Experience: Proven OB Hospitalist experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Package: $214.50 hourly rate (discussed upon application) Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable What You’ll Do Providing obstetric care and support to a high-volume labor and delivery unit Managing prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Responding to obstetric emergencies with professionalism and skill Documenting patient care accurately within the electronic health record system Maintaining compliance with hospital policies and protocols What You Need Valid Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain one Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB experience At least 2 years of OB Hospitalist experience preferred Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment Join a leading healthcare facility in Evansville, IN, dedicated to delivering exceptional maternal and newborn care.
