Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing is required. BSN is preferred. (CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency. required. Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire is required. One (1) year of experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required. BCLS is required upon hire with an expiration date greater than 3 months preferred. ACLS is required within 90 days of hire. 2 years Cath Lab/EP/IR experience strongly preferred and/or 2 years ICU/ED strongly preferred if without experience. BSN strongly preferred. CVRN, CCRN, CEN certifications preferred Education Associate's Degree Nursing required OR Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required What You Will Do Basic Human Needs - Responds to others' priorities regarding safety, physical, psychological, and social needs.
