Registered Nurse (RN II)- Cardiovascular Care Unit RN II Cardiovascular Care Unit- Full Time/ Nights Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Denton: 3000 N I-35 Denton, Texas 76201 Work hours: Full Time (36 Hour) Night Shift Department Highlights: All age ranges- Cardiac issues, heart failure 31 bed cardiac unit Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4 Patient population includes post open heart (CABG), post PCI, arrythmia issues, administration of cardiac drips (all rooms have bedside monitors) High morale with lots of tenure on the unit

Qualifications

Here's What You Need Education Nursing Diploma (nursing) required Or Associate's Degree Nursing required Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Experience 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required 2+ years of nursing experience is preferred Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And NIHSS- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 90 days required And ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required And CPI- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required What You Will Do Basic Human Needs - Responds to others' priorities regarding safety, physical, psychological and social needs.
