Location: Redmond, WA - Strictly Onsite (local candidates only)

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Duration: Short-term initial contract (9 weeks, 5 days) with high probability of extension

Project Context: High-priority LEO satellite mobility project (Project Kuiper/Avanade context)

Role Overview


This role sits within the CM&T (Communications, Media & Technology) group, specifically focusing on global mobility connectivity powered by LEO satellites. The team's mission is to transform how airlines, ships, and vehicles maintain connectivity anywhere on Earth by developing end-to-end product strategies for Aviation, Maritime, and Land mobility.


The ideal candidate is a technical visionary with an "ownership" mindset who can navigate the complexities of satellite communications and enterprise B2B relationships. They should be comfortable balancing technical rigor with commercial acumen, possessing the seniority to influence both internal stakeholders and external partners in the mobility sector.


Must-Have Skills

• Technical Product Management (Mobility/Telecom) - 8+ years
• Satellite/Network Engineering Concepts - 5+ years
• End-to-End Product Lifecycle (Concept to Launch) - 8+ years
• Product Management (Telecom/Mobility Platforms) - 8+ years
• Complex Program/Project Management - 6+ years
• Satellite/Wireless Tech (LEO, 5G, or IoT) - 3+ years

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Mobility (Aviation, Maritime, Land)
• Translate market needs into scalable product offerings, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies
• Partner with engineering, hardware, network, and operations teams to deliver integrated LEO-based solutions
• Drive enterprise engagements with airlines, shipping companies, fleet operators, and mobility platforms
• Lead product lifecycle from concept to launch and scale while defining KPIs like latency, uptime, and throughput
• Collaborate with AWS teams to build joint offerings and ecosystem integrations

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the product strategy and roadmap for Aviation, Maritime, and Land mobility connectivity solutions
• Partner with engineering and hardware teams to deliver integrated LEO-based networking products
• Drive go-to-market strategies and pricing models for enterprise-level B2B customers
• Define and optimize product performance KPIs, including throughput, adoption, and revenue

Nice-to-Have Skills

• AWS / Cloud Networking
• Regulatory knowledge (FAA / IMO)
• Enterprise B2B Pricing models
• Inflight Connectivity (IFC) or Maritime connectivity experience
• Familiarity with regulatory environments (FAA, IMO, DOT)
• Experience with hardware + software integrated products (antennas, edge devices)
• AWS services and cloud networking knowledge

• Lack of experience in connectivity, telecom, or mobility platforms
