Radiation Therapist

Description Radiation Therapist at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 8- hour, Day/ shifts Under the direction of the Lead Radiation Therapist, Radiation Oncology Manager, Physicist, and Radiation Oncologists and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all the professional duties involved in coordinating, preparing and administering radiation therapy treatments and simulation procedures within appropriate radiation safety practices. Required Qualifications: Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification, Or Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a hospital setting. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
