About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: - 2 years of experience required - Will consider first-time travelers with strong skill/experience License: - Must have an active state RN license Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - NIHSS - CPI Must-Have: - Charge experience - Experience with a patient ratio of 4-5 Description: The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care to adult and geriatric patients. The average census is 40-42 patients with a patient bed capacity of 42. Daily responsibilities will include managing telemetry and medication administration. This role requires weekends and holidays as scheduled. Floating to other units within the specialty and lower acuity may be required. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring vital signs and interpreting telemetry readings. Additional duties include wound care, IV management, and patient education. The ideal candidate should possess skills in managing various medical conditions and procedures. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. All travelers must adhere to compliance policies during the onboarding process. Participation in interdisciplinary support teams is expected. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals will be essential for patient care.
